I recently stayed at The Armadas Rest for a short trip to attend an event nearby. The location was absolutely perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in terms of convenience. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. The unique, cosy, and quirky decor added a special touch to my stay, and I loved the historical charm of the property. Additionally, having parking available was a major plus. The kitchen was well-stocked, and I enjoyed the added fun of games and activities. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, thoughtful amenities, and charming character.

    I recommend this hotel.

Loved the breakfast options, especially the continental spread. Parking was a bonus. Towels provided, thank goodness!

Moldy fridge, butter containers filled with crumbs. just what I always wanted in a hotel experience.

My recent stay at The Armadas Rest was absolutely delightful. The location is perfect, right on the high street with convenient parking. The grade I listed building adds a charming touch to the experience. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay.

Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as a slightly chilly corridor and limited sleeping arrangements, they did not significantly impact my overall enjoyment of the stay.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending, and the breakfast options were plentiful with lots of choices. The house had a quirky and homely feel, making us feel right at home. We were impressed by the thoughtful extras provided by the generous host. The view of the florist from the breakfast table was a lovely touch. we had a wonderful experience.

There were a few minor issues such as a slow WiFi connection and difficulties finding the property, but these didn't greatly impact our stay. The sofas and some areas of the house seemed a bit worn, but considering it is also used as a family home, it is understandable.

The breakfast options were abundant and I could park my fancy car for free. Cozy decor and a great location added to the charm.

Oh, who needs heating anyway? The frosty bathroom and smoky living room gave me a true taste of the Arctic.

Loved being able to cook for myself in the well-stocked kitchen, perfect for someone like me who is always working away from home. The designated parking was a great convenience, especially for those visiting the nearby NEC. The building itself was beautiful, full of character, and the decor added to its charm. The breakfast provided was a nice touch, with plenty of options to choose from. Another advantage was the location of the local shops, making it convenient for any necessary errands.

Some areas of the hotel seemed a bit tired, like the sofas, which is understandable since it is also used as a family home. It would have been beneficial for small adult groups like ours to have the option of sofa beds in the lounge, rather than having to cram into one room.
